Female-Led Spinoff “Arrow” Spinoff Series in Production

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that a new spinoff series based on several key female characters featured on Arrow is currently in production. The series is set to feature Mia Smoak/Green Arrow (Kathernine McNamara), Laurel Lance (Kattie Cassidy), and Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy). The series will first start as a “backdoor pilot” in the final season of Arrow, which will premiere on October 15. Beth Schwartz, Marc Guggenheim, Jill Blankenship and Oscar Balderrama will be working as the co-writers as well as the executive producers of the episode. Happy Monday heroes, we have a new trailer for the upcoming season of Arrow. We get to see Oliver’s jail life along with some footage of what appears to be the Long Bow Hunters in Star City. Which is something I’ve been waiting for since season 2 when they introduced Brick into the mix. I stopped watching Arrow after season four but it seems like this season is going to be good.
