Deadline has reported that Brian K. Vaughan is set to write the screenplay for the live-action Gundam film adaptation. Vaughan is best known for his works on several comic projects such as Y: The Last Man, Ex Machina, and Runaways, just to name a few. Legendary Pictures to Produce My Hero Academia Live-Action Film

Several news outlets have announced that a live-action film adaptation of the My Hero Academia franchise is in the works at Legendary Pictures. The project will be overseen by Alex Garcia and Jay Ashenfelter for Legendary Pictures. ANN has recently reported about their coverage at the Sunrise panel at Anime Expo 2018, which revealed that Yasuo Miyakawa, Sunrise’s president and CEO, has recently announced that a live-action adaptation of the Gundam franchise is in the works. Pacific Rim Uprising Premiere Date Pushed To March 2018

Deadline has reported that Pacific Rim Uprising’s premiere date has been pushed from February 23, 2018 to March, 23, 2018.  Due to the change the film will no longer compete with Marvel’s Black Panther so it should have a stronger presence in the box office.  For those who are unaware the film is the sequel to 2013 Pacific Rim film directed by Guillermo del Toro.  Pacific Rim Uprising is directed by Steven S.
