Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation have announced that they will producing five new DC Showcase animated shorts, which will be released throughout 2019 and 2020. The shorts will feature various classic DC Comic characters such as Sgt. Rock and The Phantom Stranger, and more. DC Universe “Swamp Thing” Extended Trailer Streamed

The official DC Youtube channel has updated with a new extended trailer for DC Universe exclusive the Swamp Thing series. The trailer features a deeper look at the setting of the series and it is clear that James Wan was a pretty great choice as the main producer on this project. DC Universe “Swamp Thing” Production Halted

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that the production of the upcoming DC Universe exclusive “Swamp Thing” series has been halted. Originally 13 episodes were being produced for the first season of the series, however it has been revealed that the first season will be cut short to 10 episodes. The final episode of the first season is currently being altered to match the new episode count. The first episode of the series is still currently set for a May 31 premiere date. Leonardo Nam Joins DC Universe’s Swamp Thing Cast

Deadline has reported that Leonardo Nam will be joining the cast of the DC Universe Swamp Thing series. Nam will be portraying  Harlan Edwards, who will be a recurring role in the series. Deadline provided a short description of the series.
