Legendary “Gundam” Film to Stream on Netflix

Netflix has recently announcement on their official Twitter page that they will be streaming the live-action Hollywood film adaptation of Mobile Suit Gundam. Additionally, Netflix announced that Jordan Vogt-Roberts will be working as the director/ producer on the project. Kaiju fans should recognize Jordan Vogt-Roberts as he was the director of the 2017 Kong Skull Island film. Jason Young and Cale Boyter have also been hired on the project as overseers. Deadline has reported that Brian K. Vaughan is set to write the screenplay for the live-action Gundam film adaptation. Vaughan is best known for his works on several comic projects such as Y: The Last Man, Ex Machina, and Runaways, just to name a few. Anime Expo 2018: Live-Action Gundam Film Announced

ANN has recently reported about their coverage at the Sunrise panel at Anime Expo 2018, which revealed that Yasuo Miyakawa, Sunrise’s president and CEO, has recently announced that a live-action adaptation of the Gundam franchise is in the works.
