iO9 has reported that IDW Publishing will be publishing a comic miniseries that features both Star Trek characters and the Transformers. The new crossover miniseries titled, “Star Trek vs. Transformers,” will feature the bridge crew on the U.S.S. Enterprise based on their appearances from Star Trek: The Animated Series, and the Transformers from The Transformers, aka Generation One. For those who are unfamiliar with the series, Star Trek: The Animated Series was produced by Filmation and premiered in 1973.
