Sailor Moon Crystal 4th Season Confirmed as 2 Part Film Project

The official Sailor Moon website has updated with an announcement that the fourth season of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal will be a two part film project.  The two films will feature the “Dead Moon” arc of the original manga series. Chiaki Kon, who worked on the third season of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal will return as the director for the two films. The announcement was first revealed during the “25th Anniversary Usagi Birthday Event” that was held in Tokyo earlier today.  The event will last until this upcoming Sunday.  No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.…

Shonen Jump Reveals New Cast Members In One Piece Whole Cake Island Arc

Thanks to a early look at the upcoming issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, it has been revealed that Miyuki Sawashiro will be joining the One Piece anime cast.  She will be voicing Charlotte Pudding in the Whole Cake Island Arc of the anime.  It has also been revealed that Mami Koyama will be voicing Charlotte “Big Mom” Linlin.” Currently it is unknown if she will be voicing the role fully, but she will be voicing the character in an upcoming image song.  The character was originally portrayed by Toshiko Fujita.  The issue also featured a preview for the upcoming Ace serialized novel. Sailor Moon Crystal Sequel Season Announced

The official Sailor Moon website has updated with the announcement that the next season Sailor Moon Crystal is currently in production.  No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates. The website also revealed that the original anime series along with Sailor Moon R and the three movies will be released on Blu-ray.  Two Blu-ray sets are currently confirmed, which will include 23 episodes each.  The first set will be released on June 14 and the second will be released on August 9.  The releases will feature an HD “upconversion”  of the series.  The first prints…
