Final Aquaman Trailer Streamed

Warner Bros. has updated their official Youtube channel with the final trailer for Aquaman. The latest trailer features a closer look of the setting of the film and takes a look at some of the characters. Some highlights of the trailer include a short look at Arthur’s  training with Vulko (Willem Dafoe), as well as another look of the battle between Aquaman and Ocean Master (Patrick Wilson). Mattel DC Multiverse SDCC 2018 Reveals [Updated]

[UPDATE 7/21/2018] Thanks to a new video by Dan Eardley aka Pixel Dan, who also moderated the DC Multiverse panel, we now have some clearer information for the upcoming waves of figures from Mattel.  Starting with the Aquaman movie wave, the Collect and Connect wave actually contains four figures instead of five. SDCC 2018: Mattel DC Exclusives Revealed

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed a first look at some of Mattel’s exclusives based on the DC Comics brand, which will be released at San Diego Comic Con 2018. First, Mattel will be releasing a special Hot Wheels set based on Superman Action Comics No. 1, which was released in 1938. As a homage to the cover, the set will feature a mini Superman figure holding up the iconic green sedan. First Look at Live-Action Aquaman’s Black Manta

Entertainment Weekly has revealed a first look at Black Manta in the upcoming live-action Aquaman film. While a full look of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in costume has not been shown, the photo reveals David Kane aka Black Manta working on his armor. For those who have not been following, the film’s main antagonist will be King Orm aka Ocean Master, who will be portrayed by Patrick Wilson. The film also stars Amber Heard who will return to portray her role as Princess Mera, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna, and Dolph Lundgren who is portraying King Nereus.  James Wan, director of the Aquaman film had this to say about Black Manta. “He’s…

Patrick Wilson Cast as Ocean Master in Aquaman Film

Yesterday, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Patrick Wilson will be playing Arthur Curry’s brother, Ocean Master/Orm Curry, in the standalone Aquaman film. For those who aren’t familiar with his previous work, Patrick Wilson portrayed Nite Owl in the 2009 live action adaptation of the Watchmen. He will star alongside Jason Momoa (Aquaman) and Amber Heard (Mera).
