Earlier today, Netflix announced the release date for Pacific Rim: The Black. For those who are not aware, the series is an upcoming anime series that will be set in the universe of Pacific Rim and its’ sequel, Pacific Rim: Uprising. Pacific Rim Uprising Japanese Preview Streamed

Cinema Today has updated their official Youtube channel with a new Japanese promo video for Pacific Rim Uprising. The latest preview features another look at the battle between the Jaegars and the Kaiju.  Pacific Rim Uprising will premiere in North American theaters on March 23 and will distributed by Universal Pictures.  The film will premiere in Japan on April 13 and distributed by Warner Brothers Pictures Japan.  Source: Cinema Today

Pacific Rim Uprising Premiere Date Pushed To March 2018

Deadline has reported that Pacific Rim Uprising’s premiere date has been pushed from February 23, 2018 to March, 23, 2018.  Due to the change the film will no longer compete with Marvel’s Black Panther so it should have a stronger presence in the box office.  For those who are unaware the film is the sequel to 2013 Pacific Rim film directed by Guillermo del Toro.  Pacific Rim Uprising is directed by Steven S. DeKnight.  The film stars Scott Eastwood, Jing Tian, Cailee Spaeny, Rinko Kikuchi, Burn Gorman, Adria Arjona and Charlie Day. Source: Deadline
