Last year, Takashi Miike announced that a sequel for “The Great Yokai War” was in production for Summer 2021. Also, since the initial announcement, details regarding its production and cast slowly began appear throughout the year. Funimation to Release Cowboy Bebop the Movie in North American Theaters

Funimation Films has announced that they will be releasing Cowboy Bebop the Movie in North American theaters. For those who are unaware, Cowboy Bebop the Movie was originally released in Japanese theaters under the name, Cowboy Bebop: Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door on September 1, 2001. Whereas, it was originally released in North American theaters on August 11, 2002. The film was later released on home video in Japan on February 7, 2002, and in North America on June 28, 2011.
