Kraken Releasings Updates GARO: Makai Senkyu

Since the initial licensing for the series, Kraken Releasings has referred to the second GARO series as Makai Senkyu. However, recently product information on the upcoming Blu-Ray releases shows that Kraken Releasings decided to forgo the re-brand and stick to the original name, Makai Senki. Kraken Releasings’ Licenses GARO: Makai Senkyu

Sentai Filmworks has recently confirmed they have now licensed the second GARO television series, Makai Senkyu (originally referred to as Makai Senki). The confirmation came via the site’s store featuring the pre-order for the first Blu-Ray collection set for this series. Sentai Filmworks Licenses Aura Battler Dunbine Anime Series

Sentai Filmworks has recently announced that they have acquired the license to the Aura Battler Dunbine anime series.  The company will be releasing the series both digitally and home video, however no other release details are confirmed at this time. The series was previously licensed by ADV Films in North America and was streamed on the Daisuki service last year. For those who are unaware, Aura Battler Dunbine is based on the original The Wings of Rean novel, which was created by Yoshiyuki Tomino. The series aired in 1983 and featured a retelling the novel. Sentai Filmworks Announces Gatchaman Fighter DVD Release

Section23 Films has revealed that Sentai Filmworks will be releasing Gatchaman Fighter on DVD.  Gatchaman Fighter will be released on July 4 and will feature the original Japanese audio with English Subtitles. Gatchaman Fighter is the third anime series in the Gatchman franchise. Up to this point the series has not seen a full uncut release in North America so this will be the first time it will be available in the country.   Saban Entertainment dubbed the series along with Gatchman II under the name “, Saban’s Eagle Riders.” The first 13 episodes aired in North America, however the entire series aired in both Australia and Europe.…
