Yesterday, Sony Pictures Entertainment released the second trailer for their upcoming Venom sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage! This new trailer features a more in-depth look at the titular villain, Cletus Kasady, as he comes to possess the Carnage Symbiote. Surprisingly, even in a world without Spider-Man, several pieces of Carnage’s origin and powers remain intact. In addition, several methods in how Carnage disposes of victims in the comics are referenced in the film. Furthermore, the trailer gives viewers an inkling of what is to come with Kasady’s love interest, Frances Barrison/ Shriek. Whereas, for Eddy Brock things have not change too much since the previous film, especially when it comes to relationships. Nevertheless, below is the official trailer for fans to see for themselves!
Now, Venom: Let There Be Carnage is scheduled to release sometime this Fall. The film stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Woody Harrelson, Naomie Harris, and rumors mention a cameo appearance by J.K. Simmons. Also, the film will be exclusively premiered in theaters with no streaming options available. This announcement is unfortunate to those have be use to home viewings due to the pandemic.
