SDCC 2017 to Host Resident Evil & Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars Panels

San Diego Comic Con’s official website has recently revealed two new panels for the event. The first panel is for the Resident Evil: Vendetta animated film, based on the Resident Evil (Biohazard) game. The panel will feature executive producer Takashi Shimizu (Ju-on), director Takanori Tsujimoto (Ultraman X), and Capcom supervisor Hiroyuki Kobayashi. Viz Media Reveals Terraformars English Dub Cast

Yesterday at Anime Expo, Viz Media announced the English dub staff, and cast for the TerraFormars anime. TerraFormars is an adaptation of Yū Sasuga’s and Kenichi Tachibana’s manga series which premiered in September 2014. The series follows an expedition team’s battle on Mars with mutated cockroaches, seeking to exterminate humans. To combat these mutant cockroaches that were once used for the terraforming process of the planet, the expedition team undergo “Bugs Procedure,” experimental surgery designed to make them superhuman. Sunrise's Yatate Bunko to Publish a new Gundam Story

Sunrise recently revealed that they will be publishing a new Gundam novel set after the events of Gundam UC 0096 titled “Mobile Suit Gundam: Twilight Axis” in their new Light Novel Imprint publication Yatate Bunko. The story will be focusing on the events of the Laplace Box incident that took place during Gundam Unicorn, with the story being written by Ark Performance who previously worked on the Johnny Ridden side stories for Gundam, as well as the Arpeggio of Blue Steel series.     Source: Crunchyroll

Daisuke Sakaguchi to portray Near in "Death Note: New Generation"

It was recently confirmed that the 42yr old voice actor Daisuke Sakaguchi will be portraying the successor of L, Near, in the upcoming three-part web drama “Death Note: New Generation”. He was recently heard during a short phone conversation during the second part of the series “Chapter Ryuzaku: Last Wishes”. Bandai Namco just revealed the first trailer for the upcoming 3DS title Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters.
