Happy Thursday heroes, we’ve learned that Rosie Perez will be joining the DC Extended Universe. She will be playing Renee Montoya, a well known detective in Gotham City Police Department. I have to say I wasn’t expecting them to cast an older actress for the role but I have to say I’m pleased to see it. I know one complaint people have had about the Marvel universe is that they never cast any older woman in roles. Whereas the DCEU is showing that they’re willing to go older which is refreshing.
Overall, I’m looking forward to seeing how this film will come together. With both Black Canary and Huntress cast. I’m certain we will see more actress being cast for this female led film.
