RWBY & Gen:Lock Comics Announced at RTX

Happy Friday heroes! Today, we have learned that RWBY and Gen:LOCK are getting their own comic series through DC Comics. It was one of the many announcements that happened during Rooster Teeth Expo. For the RWBY comic series, Marguerite Bennett will be writing the series. Meanwhile artist Mirka Andolfo and Arif Prianto will be on the creative team as well. Drew Van Acker Joins DC Universe “Titans” as Aqualad

TVInsider has reported that Drew Van Acker will be joining the cast of the DC Universe Titans series as Garth aka Aqualad. For those who are not aware, the original version of Aqualad made his debut appearance in Adventure Comics issue #269, which was released in February 1960. Tom King to Co-Write ‘The New Gods’ Film’s Screeplay

The Wrap has reported that comic book writer Tom King will be working as the co-writer on DC’s “The New Gods.” He will be working alongside Ava DuVernay, who was confirmed to be the director on the project last year. Tom King is best known for his work on Batman and Mister Miracle. For those who are unaware, the New Gods are natives to two planets in the DC universe known as New Genesis and Apokolips. Robert Pattinson in Talks to Play Batman in Matt Reeve’s “Batman” Film

Variety has reported that Robert Pattinson (Twilight) is in talks to play Batman in Matt Reeve’s upcoming film based on the character.  Matt Reeves will be directing the film and he will also be producing the film alongside Dylan Clark. Not much else is known about the film, however pre-production for the film is set to start this Summer. Also, according to Variety filming could start as early as late 2019, or in early 2020. Deathstroke’ Animated Series Announced for CW Seed

Deadline has reported that an animated series based on Deathstroke is currently in the works for CW Seed. The series was announced during a CW upfront presentation by CW Network president, Mark Pedowitz.
