Discotek Media Licenses Space Wolf Juspion & Message From Space: Galactic Wars

Today at Otakon, Discotek Media announced during their panel that they acquired the license for the fourth Metal Hero series, Space Wolf Juspion. For those unaware, the Metal Hero series are tokusatsu programs produced by Toei. In addition, a handful of these series were adapted in America by Saban Brand as VR Troopers and the Big Bad Beetleborgs. Kamen Rider Amazons Now Available on Amazon Prime US

Amazon has recently updated their stream catalog with the first season of Kamen Rider Amazons under the name Amazon Riders. Reported back late 2016, the series was set to stream on the platform alongside Ultraman Orb the Origin Saga. However, no other details were confirmed since that time; we at Hero Club, even used its delay as our 2017 April Fools Day joke. Otakon 2017 – Discotek Media to Release Cyborg 009: The Cyborg Soldier

Over the weekend Otakon 2017 was held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. At the convention Discotek Media held a panel featuring several new releases.  Among the releases the company announced that they will be releasing Cyborg 009: The Cyber Soldier on Blu-ray and DVD. Scans of the upcoming Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider Build, have leaked online. Currently the scans reveal Build’s various forms, and his arsenal. Kamen Rider Build will transform through the use of his BuilDriver (or Build Driver), and the collectible gimmick, the Full Bottles. The theme will fuse animals with machines! Kamen Rider Amazons Season 1 Coming to North America

Today, Amazon announced that Kamen Rider Amazons will be added to its North American Prime streaming services on Friday, April 7th. Amazon will start with Kamen Rider Amazons’ Season 1, and will upload following episodes weekly. The North American launch of the series is to coincide with Season 2’s premiere in Japan. The episodes will feature English, Spanish, and French subtitles. Amazon also intends to bring over Season 2, upon its conclusion in Japan. Netflix Announces Cyborg 009: Call of Justice Stream Date

Netflix has updated with the announcement that Cyborg 009: Call of Justice will be available on the service starting on February 10. Cyborg 009: Call of Justice was first announced to stream worldwide last December, however today the service has revealed the actual release date. The three part film series will be split into 12 episodes on Netflix. Netflix provided a short synopsis for the film series.
