Netflix has updated their official Youtube channel with a new trailer for Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus! For those who are not aware, Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus! is an upcoming animated film that follows up the events of the 2001 Nickelodeon animated series. The trailer features a look at the current situation between Zim and Dib as they continue their never ending battle. The film will premiere on Netflix on August 16, 2019.
Netflix provided a short description for the series.
When Zim reappears to begin the next phase of his evil alien plan to conquer Earth, his nemesis Dib Membrane sets out to unmask him once and for all.
While I personally didn’t watch the series growing up I did actually enjoy it quite a bit when I binged the series. I can understand the love the series got by their fans and it was pretty insane just what the team could get away with in this series. Overall I can not wait to see what is in store with the film, although it is sad that the series was cancelled so early in the series’ production.
