MarveI's The Inhumans to Premiere On IMAX In 2017

Some surprising news has recently surfaced which reveals that ABC, IMAX Corp, and Marvel Television has recently formed an agreement to screen the first two episodes of Marvel’s the Inhumans.  While the project is going to be a televised production, under this agreement the first two episodes will premiere exclusively to IMAX for a limited time.  Marvel’s The Inhumans will premiere in September 2017 and will run for the first two weeks of the month.

This event is a momentous occasion since this is the first time a televised production has debuted in theaters. Marvel’s The Inhumans will premiere as a weekly series in Fall with brand new content exclusive to the network.

The official Marvel website provided a short backstory for the  characters.

The Inhumans, a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. “Marvel’s The Inhumans” will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family.

So there you have it.  While the actual Inhumans film may have been cancelled, it is interesting to see that the characters will still be able to seen on the silver screen.  What are your thoughts about the Inhumans TV show pilot being screen in theaters?  Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
