Recently Kōhei Uchida launched a spin-off manga series on DeNA’s free Manga Box app based on the Guardians of the Galaxy films. The spin-off series titled, “Guardians of the Galaxy: Galaxy Rush,” is the serialized version of Uchida’s winning submission in the “Marvel” Special Prize contest that was held earlier this year by the Weekly Shonen Magazine. New chapters will be added to the service every Wednesday.
The manga features an original story were the Guardians of the Galaxy enter a dangerous battle-royale style race called Galaxy Rush in where the victor is deemed the fastest in the galaxy. It has also been revealed that Hogun will also be featured in the manga. Thor and his other companions will also be appearing in the manga as they work together to liberate Vanaheim.
