Hello Hero Club, this is Darkon633 and I am back with another toy review. Today we will be looking at the Amazon exclusive Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi 6 Inch Black Series Elite Praetorian Guard.
Before I talk about the figure itself I have some few gripes about how the Star Wars 6 Inch Black Series is being released so far. While this is a bit redundant since I mentioned the issues I had with the Gamestop releases it doesn’t detract from the fact it is something to ponder about. I personally feel that it is astonishing how bad the exclusives are being marketed for the Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi 6 Inch Black Series releases. Currently it is unknown when the Ahch-To Luke Skywalker or the Walmart exclusive Kylo Ren are going to be released so it is a bit boggling how things are being dealt with. Another issue can be seen with the Gamestop exclusives so it is bit of mess at this current time.
It is nice to see that the Amazon exclusive Elite Praetorian Guard didn’t get delayed like the Gamestop exclusives, however actually seeing this figure release a whole month in advance really doesn’t help my personal feelings towards how the figures are being marketed. With that out of the way I think the figure itself is great and although it doesn’t add much new things to the table compared to the single card version of the guard it does have a few different details that help it shine. First the new head sculpt is nice and the weapons are pretty awesome in opinion. If you are a fan of the Elite Guards or the Elite Praetorian Guards than you don’t want to miss out on this release.
