Review: HGUC Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.)

Welcome to Soundout12’s brand-new Model Kit Monday! The series is back from a long hiatus and this week we’ll be looking at the HGUC Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.). This kit was released in October 2018 for 2800 yen/ $32.99 and is based upon the Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative film. The Sinanju Stein was used by the primary antagonist of the movie, Zoltan Akkanen and the kit reuses most of its parts from the HGUC Sinanju. That being said, there’s a lot of great engineering involved with the building of the kit itself and this ends up being quite unique. Check out the video review…

HGUC 1/144 Gundam Ground Type (Revive Ver) Review

Breaking out of the classic 90s OVA series, Mobile Suit Gundam the 08th MS Team, the RX-97 [G] Gundam Ground Type are the primary forces of the titular 08th MS Team. Several of these units were used in ground based combat during the end of the One Year War. This Mobile Suit was developed from research done on the RX-78-2 Gundam but does not have flight capabilities of any kind or a core fighter. The HGUC 210 release of the Gundam Ground Type is an updated 1/144th scale model kit…

Gunpla Dojo: HGUC 205 Gundam Tristan Review

Today, we have a new addition to the Gunpla Dojo! This newest addition is none other the RX-78AN-01 Gundam AN-01 “Tristan“, or simply the Gundam Tristan. The Tristan is featured in the on-going web-series, Mobile Suit Gundam: Twilight Axis. The background on this mobile suit is actual an interesting story, as it is seemingly an unholy union between previous titular Gundams; the two used for the Tristan are none other than the Gundam Alex and the Gundam Mk. II. With that being said this Mobile Suit is a throwback to the early…

Gunpla Dojo: HGIBO 037 Gundam Vual Review

It is hammer time at the Gundam Dojo as I, the VisibleNinja, am about to take a look at a bad-ass new Gunpla. This Gunpla is based on the Gundam Vual from Iron-Blooded Orphans Gekko side-story. Now, at this time there is not an official distribution for manga, nor are there scan-lations for the manga. That means information I have on this suit is limited, ranging from official descriptions, and brief synopsis/summaries on the suit’s origin, as well as its pilot. What I can say without spoiling the review is…
