Taika Waititi to Direct & Co-write Theatrical Star Wars Film

The official Star Wars website has updated with an announcement that Taika Waititi will be directing and co-writing a theatrical Star Wars film. Additionally, Krysty Wilson-Cairns will be joining him on the project as a screenplay writer for the film as well. Last year it was reported that a Disney+ exclusive series based on Cassian Andor was announced with Diego Luna returning to reprise his role as the character. Deadline has reported that Kaley Cuoco will be voicing Harley Quinn in the upcoming animated series that will be released exclusively on DC Universe. Warner Brothers also provided a trailer for the series, which features Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. Deadline has reported that Alan Tudyk has joined the cast of the upcoming Doom Patrol live-action series. He will be playing Eric Mordern aka Mr. Nobody.  For those who are not familiar with the character, Eric Mordern was first introduced in Doom Patrol#86 and was transformed into Mr. Nobody in Doom Patrol, Vol. 2, #26. Eric Mordern was exposed to unknown experiments by a team of ex-Nazis located in post-war Paraguay.  The experiments caused him to obtain the ability to emerge as a living shadow and steal the sanity of others. SDCC 2017: Big Hero 6 The Series First Look

IGN has posted a clip for the upcoming Big Hero 6 animated series that was shown at San Diego Comic Con 2017.  The clip features Bay Max and Hiro fighting off against several booby traps.  The Big Hero 6 animated series will premiere on Disney XD this Fall.
