Legendary Pictures to Produce My Hero Academia Live-Action Film

Several news outlets have announced that a live-action film adaptation of the My Hero Academia franchise is in the works at Legendary Pictures. The project will be overseen by Alex Garcia and Jay Ashenfelter for Legendary Pictures. Whereas, Ryosuke Yoritomi will oversee the project for Shueisha, who is the publisher of the manga. Michael Dougherty to Direct Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Today, Legendary Pictures confirmed that writer, Michael Dougherty will now also be directing the sequel to Godzilla. Originally Michael Dougherty was hired alongside his “Krampus” co-writer Zach Shields to write future sequels in the Monster cinematic universe, dubbed the MonsterVerse. Godzilla 2 Writers Confirmed – Michael Dougherty and Zach Shields

Variety has recently reported that Michael Dougherty and Zach Shields will be the main writers for the sequel to the 2014 Godzilla film.   Both writers are known for writing “Krampus” for Legendary. It is also been hinted that Legendary is currently planning to set up the writers that will help work on Godzilla/ King Kong film universe.
