Earlier today, Variety reported new details about the upcoming the “Sonic the Hedgehog” live-action spin-off series starring Knuckles. As reported earlier, the series will take place between Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and the third Sonic the Hedgehog film. The series simply titled, “Knuckles.” will feature the return of several cast members. The current confirmed cast members include Idris Elba, who will be reprising his role alongside Wade Wipple (Adam Pally) and Tika Sumpter (Maddie). Earlier today, Paramount Pictures released the Superbowl LVI big game spot trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The latest trailer features more scenes featuring Knuckles the Echidna (Idris Elba) and some more battle scenes involving Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey).
