Anime NYC: TMS Entertainment Announces Megalo Box Sequel

Today at Anime NYC, TMS Entertainment announced that they are currently developing a sequel to their anime series Megalo Box. For those unaware, Megalo Box is an original story and production that commemorates the 50th anniversary of Ikki Kajiwara (Asao Takamori) and Tetsuya Chiba’s manga, Ashita no Joe. The series features, a man called JD (Junk Dog) who participates in underground boxing matches. However, these matches require people use metal frames to enhance fights, and make them more lethal. Last year it was announced that the Bakugan franchise would be rebooted, however outside of the initial announcement not much information regarding the project was revealed that the time.
