Titans Go! We have some breaking news from DC Comics. We’ve learned that the upcoming Titans show which will be on their upcoming streaming service has cast Starfire. The actress set to play the princess of Tamaran is Anna Diop. Here’s the character description of Starfire provided by DC Comics.
“An alien princess from a warrior planet who seeks asylum on Earth. A no-nonsense, take-no-prisoners stranger on our world, Starfire has the ability to shoot energy bolts and fly. Searching for her place on Earth, she’ll come into contact with the Titans.”
I have to say that I’m happy right now. Teen Titans was the first superhero show I related to on multiple levels and seeing them come to life is going to amazing. I know you’re not supposed to have high expectations but I can’t help but have them given what the Teen Titans mean to me personally. We will be getting more casting news in a few weeks and months according to DC Comics. Both heroes, villains, and guest star roles have yet to be cast.
