What’s going on heroes? Happy Tuesday, we have some casting news I missed yesterday. That being Chantal Thuy has been cast as Grace Choi in the upcoming Black Lightning series. I have to say that I’m happy to see this character come to life on the small screen. Comic book Grace Choi was an Amazon who worked as a Bouncer in the meta-human club. Television series wise, she will be a bartender who becomes the love interest of Anissa Pierce who is played by Nafessa Williams.
I have to say I’m happy that this show will be in its own universe instead of the CW DC Universe they’ve created. As much as I enjoy the CW DC Universe, I do need some variety. In this case, Black Lightning will be able to stand on its own two feet without relying on past series. Anyway, let us know what you think down below. I’m still XBen3000 and I’m out!
