In casting news, we’ve learned that the DC Cinematic Universe has found its Deathstroke. It is Joe Manganiello, known for playing Flash Thompson in the Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy. More recently appearing the Magic Mike films. I have to say I didn’t see this casting news coming. We now have three people from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films joining the DC Cinematic Universe. Cookies for those who know the other two actors.
Personally, I wish he was playing another villain besides Deathstroke. I wouldn’t know what villain he could have played from the DC Universe but I wish someone like Clayface, Riddler, or The Court of Owls would get a cinematic debut. Even though the court is coming to Gotham this fall. My rambling aside, sound off down below letting us know what you think. I’m still XBen3000 and I’m out!
