Catwoman: Hunted Anime Film Announced

The Hollywood Reporter has announced that a new film based on the DC Comics character Catwoman is in the works at DC, Warner Bros. Animation, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The film titled, “Catwoman: Hunted,” is set to release in early 2022. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will feature an “anime” style. The film will be directed by Shinsuke Terasawa and the script will be written by Greg Weisman. Ethan Spaulding and Colin A.B.V. Lewis have been hired as the producers on the project. Sam Register will once again be working as the executive producer.

Additionally, the cast for the film was announced, which consists of:

The Hollywood Reporter provided a short description for the film.

Hunted, which is produced in an anime style, picks up with Catwoman as she attempts to steal a priceless jewel. The heist puts her squarely in the crosshairs of both a powerful consortium of villains and the ever-resourceful Interpol as well as Batwoman.
