The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland, and Chris Conrad have joined the cast of the Peacemaker series that will be streamed exclusively on HBO Max. For those who are not aware, the Peacemaker series is an upcoming spinoff series based on the character of the same name. While it was originally reported as a prequel series, director James Gunn has since stated that the series may or may not be a prequel series. Also according to The Hollywood Reporter, the first season of the series will consist of eight episodes.
The announced cast is set to portray the following characters.
- Danielle Brooks – Leota Adebayo
- Robert Patrick – Auggie Smith
- Jennifer Holland – Emilia Harcourt
- Chris Conrad – Vigilante/ Adrian Chase
No other details about the series has been revealed at this time so stay tuned for updates. The Suicide Squad is set to release in theaters in 2021.
