Grab your flight rings Legion of Superhero fans, Saturn Girl is coming to the DCTV Universe. Amy Jackson will be playing the future hero coming this fall in a recurring role on Supergirl. To quote DC Comics press release on the character.
Saturn Girl, as DC readers know, is one of the founding members of the Legion of Super-Heroes, a super hero team from the far future of the DC Universe. Set to be a recurring character on Supergirl, Saturn Girl, aka Imra Ardeen, is a kind, smart, and strong-willed hero who uses her telekinetic ability to help those in need. She was born on Titan, one of Saturn’s moons, and arrives on Earth to help Supergirl battle one of her biggest threats.
So it seems we’re in for some good stuff if it means we can eventually get some more Legion of Superhero characters. They haven’t been in much since the New 52 and there’s no current Rebirth title which I feel there should be given how much of a fan favorite there for comic fans. I’m looking forward to seeing Saturn Girl brought to life in the DCTV universe. Anyway, I’m still XBen3000 and I’m out!
