Deadpool 3 is a MCU Film

Happy Monday heroes, we’ve learned thanks to Collider that Deadpool 3 will be a Marvel Cinematic Universe film. Also, the film will keep it’s Rated R rating which is a welcomed surprise. I know many fans we worried that Deadpool would get a PG-13 rating  and wouldn’t tie into the MCU but it seems as though we were worried for nothing. To quote the interview Kevin Feige gave to Collider about the upcoming Deadpool film.

“It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan’s overseeing a script right now… It will not be [filming] this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor. We’ve got a number of things we’ve already announced that we now have to make, but it’s exciting for it to have begun. Again, a very different type of character in the MCU, and Ryan is a force of nature, which is just awesome to see him bring that character to life.”

Overall, I’m interested in seeing what will happen once Deadpool makes his way into the MCU proper. I can see Deadpool hitting theaters in 2023 or 2024 given current circumstances being in place. Such as Phase 4 being pushed by a year along with actor availability. As always, let us know if you’re excited to see Deadpool come into the MCU. I’m interested in seeing this character play off of everyone going forward.
