Square Enix recently finished their E3 2019 presentation where they revealed several new games. Today they also unveiled the release date for one of their previously revealed RPG games titled, “Oninaki.” The game was first revealed during the February Nintendo Direct this year. This project is developed by the team behind “I am Setsuna,” and “Lost Sphere.” The game will be released for the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and Steam worldwide on August 22, 2019.
ONINAKI will be available globally on 22nd August 2019. The E3 trailer highlights some of the mysteries that Kagachi will encounter during his epic adventure between the world of the Living and the realm of the Beyond.
While I personally didn’t play I am Setsuna and Lost Sphere, I know there is quite a following for both titles. That be said I am quite fascinated with this new game and I will probably pick it up sometime in the near future.
