Earlier this morning, Nintendo updated their official Youtube channel with a special MAR10 Day 2024 presentation video.
The latest video reveals that a sequel to the Super Mario Bros. movie is in the works at Illumination. Not much else is known about this production, however it has been confirmed that Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic will return to work as directors on the project. The film is currently set to release on April 3, 2026. The presentation also revealed the release dates for the Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Old Door remake and Luigi’s Mansion 2: HD. The Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Old Door remake will be released for the Nintendo Switch on May 23, 2024, while Luigi’s Mansion 2: HD will be released on June 23, 2024. Lastly, the presentation revealed that three Mario titles will be released for the NSO GB app on March 12, 2024.

- Dr. Mario (Gameboy)
- Mario Golf (Gameboy Color)
- Mario Tennis (Gameboy Color)
