The official Star Wars website has recently updated with the reveal that Emilia Clarke will be joining the cast of the upcoming standalone Han Solo film. She is best known for playing Daenerys Targaryan in Game of Thrones. Currently her role has not been confirmed at this time.
The currently confirmed cast includes:
- Alden Ehrenreich – Han Solo
- Donald Glover – Lando Calrissian
- Emilia Clarke – TBA
The Han Solo film will be released in 2018.
