February 2023 Pokémon Presents Presentation Streamed

Earlier this morning, The Pokémon Company streamed a Pokémon Presents presentation.

The presentation started with details for Pokémon World Championships 2023, which will be held in Yokoyama Japan from Aug 11-13. Next, The Pokémon Company announced that a special version cards will be released as a part of the Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic. Not much was shown about this release, however more details will be available on a later date. Continuing on, The Pokémon Company has announced they have teamed up with Dwarf Studios to develop a new animated series for Netflix titled, “Pokémon Concierge.” The series looks to be a stop motion series, however no other details are confirmed at this time.


Next, the Pokémon Company revealed new details for their mobile games. The first featured as Pokémon Unite. Players will be able to unlock Zacian alongside a Special Holowear costume for Zacian. Additionally, the next event in the game has been announced as the Zacian’s Wield event. Players will be able to play various missions and get rewards such as Zacian’s Unite License. A boss rush mode will also be added and a special code (POKEMONDAY) was revealed, which will give players a Gold Zacian boost emblem. The second mobile game featured was Pokémon Café Remix. Players will be able to unlock Sprigatito, Fuecoco, or Quaxley as well as Great Chef Greninja. Special Bonus Rxpress Deliveries will also be available during this event. The third mobile game featured was Pokémon Masters EX. A new event will be featured where players can fight against the various champions as well as Hop (Champion), Bede (Champion), Marnie (Champion). Leon and his Charizard will also return and players will be able to receive 100 sync points and 3000 gems.


The last mobile game featured was Pokémon Sleep. The long awaited mobile game will feature a new professor named Professor Neroli, who will guide people using this app. The app will feature sleep analysis and will be released in Summer 2023. A new version of the Pokémon Go Plus device known as the Pokémon Go+ Plus device will hold a Pikachu in it. By pressing the button it will activate various sounds when the user presses it before they go to bed or when they wake up. Also, the device will work with Pokémon Go. By connecting Pokémon Sleep with Pokémon Go, players will be able to unlock missions to allow them to receive a Nightcap variant of Snorlax. The device will be released on July 14.


The last game featured during the presentation was Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. A new tera raid event will be released later today, which will feature Walking Wake and Iron Leaves. The Pokémon Company also reiterated that Pokémon Home features will be available later this year and players will be able to send postcards via Pokémon Go. Players will also be able to send the roaming form for Gimighoul into Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The DLC expansion for the game was also announced known as “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.” The DLC expansion will consist of two parts and will feature the return of some previous Pokémon species that were not seen in the main game. The DLC expansions will also feature some brand new Pokémon species. Players who purchase the DLC early will even receive new uniform sets, and a special version of Hissiuan Zoroark.
