Sunrise has announced that the next part of the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin theatrical OVA. The next episode titled, “Rise of the Red Comet (Tanjo Akai Suisei) ,” will premiere on May 5, 2018 in Japan. The episode will feature the final part of the “Loum Arc,” and will focus on Char Azanable as he earns his title of the“Red Comet.” The episode will also feature the early development of the Earth Federation’s “Project V” weapons, which leads into the construction of the RX-78-2 Gundam.
This should be an exciting event to fans of the original “Mobile Suit Gundam” anime series especially since the episode will feature the early events leading into the One Year War.
