Happy Thursday Flash fans, we have news regarding Jesse L Martin, known for playing Joe West on the hit CW series The Flash. Fans of the show, including myself noticed he has not been on screen as much and when Joe is, the character is usually sitting down. The reason being is that the actor was injured between seasons four and five, so Martian has finally decided to take some time off to heal from this injury. Here is some information from EW with a statement from the CW.
“Jesse Martin is taking a medical leave of absence from The Flash. We wish him a full and speedy recovery and look forward to his return as Detective Joe West,” said the studio in a statement provided to EW.
Hopefully he is written off in a good way and I am hopeful he will return sooner than later. As always, send some love to Jesse L. Martin. Recovering cannot be easy, but having his fans support him can make all the difference. Until the next post, I am Ben and I am out!
