Monster Hunter April 2021 Digital Event Streamed

Capcom recently held a Monster Hunter Digital Event, which featured details for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin and Monster Hunter Rise.

The team first revealed a new Monster Hunter Stories 2 Wings of Ruin trailer, which took a deeper look at the game’s premise. Additionally, the trailer reveals that Lilia and Reverto will be returning from the first game. Next, the team took a look at the battle system. The battle system is very similar to the original game, however it does have some new features. Players will now be able to strike individual parts on an enemy monster leading to more damage. By choosing the correct weapon and element combo, players will also be able to deal even more damage. For those who are not familiar with the first game’s mechanics, players will choose between three different styles known as Technical, Speed, and Power. Technical has advantage over speed, while speed beats Power, and power defeats Technical. By choosing the same attack type as your monster, you can perform a double attack. Throughout the adventure, players can team up with Battle Buddies, which can help them in battle.

Continuing on, Capcom revealed a new trailer for Monster Hunter Rise. The trailer revealed that the 2.0 update will be available on April 28. The trailer also revealed that hunters will soon be able to fight the Apex Diabolos, Apex Rathalos, Teostra, Kushala Daora, and the Chameleos.
