Monster Hunter Rise March 2022 Digital Event Streamed

Earlier this morning, the Monster Hunter team presented a new digital event, which featured a look at the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion. The event first featured a trailer that focuses on some of the new monsters that Hunters will be able to face. The trailer also took another look at some of the new story elements of the DLC. Additionally, the trailer revealed that Monster Hunter: Rise Sunbreak will be released worldwide on June 30, 2022.

Continuing on, the digital event featured a deeper look at some of the new features. First, the event featured a look at the new locale known as The Citadel. Hunters will be able to see new creatures and monsters within this location.

Next, the event took a look at some of the monsters being added to the game via the DLC, They include:

  • Garangolm
  • Lunagaron
  • Blood Orange Bishaten
  • Astalos
  • Malzeno

Third, the event took a look at the new base known as the Elgado. Players will be able to do all their necessary Hunter preparations at this new base and they will be meeting new NPCs who will help on their journey.

Fourth, the event revealed a look at the several options players can purchase the game. Players can purchase the standard Digital Version, which costs $39.99. There is also a Deluxe Edition, which includes: the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion along with the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Deluxe Kit.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Deluxe Kit includes:

  • Hunter Layered Armor Set: Dragonsbane
  • Palamute Layered Armor Set: C Hound
  • Palico Layered Armor Set: F Devout
  • Gesture Set (Four Included): Take Aim
  • Pose Set (Three Included): Fight Pose Set
  • Hunter Makeup: Elegant Eye
  • Hunter Hairstyle: Fluffy Curls

Players who may have not gotten Monster Hunter Rise on its own previously can purchase the Monster Hunter Rise digital bundle. The bundle will include the Monster Hunter Rise base game and the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion. The last option they revealed is the Monster Hunter Rise + Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Double Deluxe Set. This version will include the – Monster Hunter Rise base game, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion, – Monster Hunter Rise Deluxe Kit, and the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Deluxe Kit. Those who pre-order Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will also receive the Striped Cat Costume and Loyal Dog Costume layered armors for their Palico and Palamute, respectively. Pre-orders for the DLC will available starting today.

The website also revealed that a physical Edition of the game will also be available.

The physical Collector’s Edition includes:

  • Monster Icon Sticker Pack
  • Elgado Mark Enamel Pin
  • Exclusive Steelbook

Fifth, the event revealed that new amiibos will be available on the Expansion’s release. The amiibo will unlock new costumes for their Hunters, Palico, and Palamutes.

The amiibo include:

  • Canyne Malzeno Palamute
  • Malzeno
  • Felyne Malzeno Palico

Sixth, the event took a look at some of the base game updates. The upcoming update will able to access the Sunbreak Expansion when it releases, Players will need to finish the 7 Star Subquest – Goddess of Thunder. Players will also be able to receive new support items to help them on their hunts. Players will also be able to receive Layered armors and other goodies. New event quests will also be available until March 25.

Lastly, the event revealed that the June 30, 2022 title update will be roughly 13 GB so players will need to have enough space to download the update.
