Deadline has reported about the main cast of the upcoming live-action series adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. For those who are not aware, the series was first announced in 2018, however not many new details have been confirmed about the project since. Unfortunately, over time the original series’ showrunners, Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, left the project for creative differences. Albert Kim will be working as the showrunner, writer, and executive producer on the project. Dan Lin and Lindsey Liberatore and Michael Goi have been hired as the co-executive producers. Goi will serve double duty as one of the directors alongside Roseanne Liang and Jabbar Raisani.

The cast includes:
- Gordon Cormier: Aang
- Kiawentino: Katara
- Ian Ousley: Sokka
- Dallas Liu: Zuko
