Happy Wednesday heroes! We have a recap of the Netflix Drop01 animation showcase. In this they’ve showed what new animation series are coming to the platform in the upcoming months. I will admit I wasn’t expecting them to come out swinging with these shows but I am happy about it. My hope is that most of them make it to seasons two and three but you never know with Netflix unfortunately.
Kicking things off we have the trailer for Sonic Prime season 3.
Next up is the Stylish Devil Hunter himself, Dante! That’s right Devil May Cry is getting an anime series from Capcom, Studio Mir and Adi Shankar himself working on the project.
Finally, Lara Croft is finally getting some love with an animated series. We got a brief look at Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft which is set to have Hayley Atwell voicing the Tomb Raider herself.
Let us know what you’re looking forward to the most. I know some internet fans are upset that they’re telling the story of Lara becoming the world renowned Tomb Raider but I have no problem with it. That was how I was introduced to the character video game wise outside of the Angelina Jolie movies. Sadly it seems we won’t get a sequel to Alicia Vikander’s take which I really enjoyed. Hopefully, this animated show will get a season two where we get to see her with her infamous two pistols and sunglasses. I just hope the story once we get there is just as good and emotional as the Tomb Raider 2013 story was at it’s time.
