Evo 2018 occurred this weekend, hosting various tournaments for popular fighting games. However, while this event focuses on actual gaming and players squaring off with one another, the event often features new announcements; these announcements span from new DLC to new games or even future events.
Now, one of the announcements came from Arc System Works CEO Minoru Kidooka following the Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2 finals. Mr. Kidooka revealed an all-new Guilty Gear game is currently in production! In addition, Kidooka and other members of Arc System Works announced the Arc Revo World Tour; this event will span to various countries from this Fall to Fall 2019 and offer $100,000 worth in cash prizes. Competitors who qualify will be able to take their chances in winning these prizes by playing either Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, and BlazBlue: Central Fiction.
