The official Disney Parks blog has updated with some new Disney Park merchandise reveals.
The first reveals include some new Droid Factory releases. For those who unaware the Droid Factory figures are build-able versions of droids that are exclusive to Disney Parks. Customers are able to take various parts and make customs droids which they can purchase.
The first revealed set includes several droids that were featured on Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
The set includes:
- R5-013
- R2-C2
- R5-S9
- R5-P8
The next revealed releases include:
- C1-10P “Chopper” (Star Wars Rebels)
- R2-D2 and C-3PO (Star Wars Episode VI: A New Hope)
- R-3D0 (Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens)
Cody Hampton the merchandise developer at Disney Parks had this to say about the new releases.
“This is the first time we’ve introduced Protocol droids to the Star Wars Droid Factory collection,” continued Cody. “All of these pre-packaged figures have interchangeable parts that can be mixed and matched with action figures created at the Droid Factory.”
Other releases include three new emitters for the Build-Your-Own Lightsaber system and a limited edition Paploo plush.
These new products will first be available at Star Wars Celebration 2017 at Booth 3463 that will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida starting on April 13 and ending on April 16.
The products will then be available at select merchandise locations at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Records on April 17.
