Bandai has finally revealed how their subsidiary, Tamashii Nations will be releasing S.H.MonsterArts Mothra (2019) and Rodan (2019) featured in the upcoming film, Godzilla: King of the Monsters. This announcement comes one day out from the film’s official premiere date, here in North America. Now, the pair is set be released as a set and sold through Premium Bandai in the company’s native country of Japan.
Yet, as for the figures, S.H.MonsterArts Rodan is the larger of the two in this set and will feature several points of articulation. Whereas, S.H.Monsterarts Mothra being the smallest known kaiju in the film, may barely have any articulation as this figurine. In addition, the set will contain Tamashii Stages to display the creatures in flight. Below is the official gallery from Premium Bandai, and interestingly enough the gallery does not include Godzilla or King Ghidorah:
Pre-orders for S.H.MonsterArts Mothra (2019) & Rodan (2019) will open tomorrow, May 31st at 4:00 pm JST. Orders for the set are priced at 11,000 yen with the intended release for November 2019. International fans will either need to currently go through middleman services, or select online distributors to purchase this item at this time.
