Today, Bandai officially revealed the information regarding the upcoming release for the Shokugan Modeling Project GaoMuscle from Hyakujuu Gattai Gaoranger. For those unaware, GaoMuscle is the second Power Animal combination used in the 25th Super Sentai series, Gaoranger. Whereas, the series was adapted into Power Rangers Wild Force in North America, and the mecha was renamed the Kongazord. Also, for those wondering, the Shokugan Modeling Project is the current name for Bandai’s Super Mini-Pla line.
Now, the Shokugan Modeling Project GaoMuscle will contain parts to build GaoGorilla, GaoPolar and GaoBear. In addition, the set will feature GaoRhinos, GaoMadillo and optional GaoEagle/ GaoBison leg pieces. The GaoEagle/ GaoBison legs are to allow fans to recreate a screen accurate GaoMuscule. Whereas, the inclusion of GaoRhinos and GaoMadillo are to round out set due to the non-transforming legs. Thankfully, like the series and deluxe toys, the SMP Hyakujuu Gattai series allows fans to swap limbs. So, fans have the option to recreate either of the combinations GaoKing Double Knuckle, GaoKing Striker, or GaoMuscle Striker.
