Deadline has reported that a movie based on Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is currently being produced by Nickelodeon Studios and is set to release on Netflix. The project was announced during the recent first-quarter earnings call between Viacom and the Wall Street analysts.
During the call, Viacom CEO Bob Bakish, had this to say about the project.
“This partnership with Netflix is part of Nickelodeon and Viacom’s broader efforts to tap into Nickelodeon’s library of culturally resonant properties and produce new content for third-party digital and linear platforms,” Viacom CEO Bob Bakish said during the call.
