Transformers Animated Series in Production for Nickelodeon

Deadline has recently reported that a new animated series based on the Transformers brand is in production for Nickeleodeon. The series will be produced by Nickelodeon and Hasbro’s Entertainment One. The first season of the series will consist of 26 half hour episodes, and it will release in the US first before releasing internationally.   Ant Ward and Nicola Dubac will be working as executive producers on the project while Dale Malinowski will be working as co-producer. Deadline has reported that a movie based on Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is currently being produced by Nickelodeon Studios and is set to release on Netflix. The project was announced during the recent first-quarter earnings call between Viacom and the Wall Street analysts. The show is titled “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and I am loving the art style and the new direction this series is going with the turtles.
