Coming at you with some casting news, we’ve learned that Sofia Vassilieva will be coming to Freeland this fall. She will be playing the DC Comics character Looker. Showrunner Salim Akil had this to say about Looker who is a character that has had different incarnations over the years.
“It’s really going to be interesting, the way we approach that story…. I think people will enjoy it, but also be challenged by it.” -Akil
So I have to say I’m excited to see where Black Lightning will go this season. If more meta humans are going to rise up, I’m interested in seeing where they fall. We could get Black Lightning and the Outsiders going up against Tobias and his own meta-human army. Here’s hoping Freeland can survive. Until the next news post, I’m still XBen3000 and I’m out!
