The official Star Wars Youtube channel has updated with a new sizzle reel for Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. The sizzle real was first unveiled during D23 Expo 2019. The sizzle real showcases some of the major events from the previous films leading into some never before seen footage (least to those who didn’t attend D23). The new footage includes some new battle scenes and also reveals that it seems that Rey will be heading towards the Dark Side. Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker will premiere in theaters on December 20, 2019.
In my opinion I think the team did an amazing job setting up this trailer and not gonna lie it did give me some chills. It is insane that it looks like Rey will be going towards the Dark Side and it will be interesting to see how this will turn out.
