Variety has recently reported that Michael Dougherty and Zach Shields will be the main writers for the sequel to the 2014 Godzilla film. Both writers are known for writing “Krampus” for Legendary. It is also been hinted that Legendary is currently planning to set up the writers that will help work on Godzilla/ King Kong film universe. No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates. “Godzilla 2” is currently planned to premiere on March 22, 2019 and “Godzilla vs. Kong” is set for May 29, 2020. Source: Variety
